Hi there.
I'm Margaret, a writer from Colorado.
I’m an arts and culture journalist, critic and essayist. I’ve covered a little bit of everything, from elections to giant vegetables.
I’m a graduate of the University of Montana School of Journalism and have an MFA in creative nonfiction from Washington University in St. Louis.
In 2022, I was the winner of the Montana Quarterly's Big Snowy Prize for nonfiction.
In my free time I dabble as a raft guide, ceramicist, country music radio DJ and bar trivia host. Big fan of hiking, running, cribbage, dogs with squishy faces, canned black beans and winter constellations.
Below is a selection of my writing. Thanks for visiting.
